Price Chopper Weekly Sale Flyer and Using Coupons to Stockpile

Today we are going to be talking about saving money at Price Chopper with coupons and using the two combined to get some free items or some items really cheap. First I want to mention how Price Choppers coupon policy works. Keep in mind some locations enforce it and some do not. Price Chopper will double coupons up to 99 cents, however the policy states that they will only double the first 6 items and the rest will be face value. The way around this is to make multiple trips if you are buying a lot of one item. Now this can be done while you are there by putting your groceries in the car and heading back in. The next thing we want to look at is that the policy also states that coupons cannot add up to more than 50% of the order. A simple way around this is to purchase a Price Chopper gift card to bring you above the 505. Then use the gift car on your next trip through. This also has other advantages as well. Such as this week there is a deal with a store coupon if you spend $25.00 you get $5.00 any 10 store brand items. I simply bought a $25.00 gift card and 10 cans of Chicken Noodle Soup that were 2 for $1.00. This made the 10 cans of soup free with the coupon, I just used the Gift card my next trip through.

Now the best way to save is to save manufacturers coupons. Most of these will be found in the Sunday Paper in two flyers, One being Smart Source and the other being Red Plum. Some weeks will only have one or the other, some weeks will have both. Have your friends and family save these for you as well as check with your local store and see if they will let you pull the remaining coupons on Monday Morning. It is important to mark the date on the flyers so you can easily reference them in the future. Generally the coupons are good for 2 months so after that you can recycle the flyer. You can also print coupons online as well however there is usually a limit of only 2. The online coupons are barcoded with a specific code and cannot be photocopied. You can also purchase coupons on ebay believe it or not or through a coupon clipping service.

Now that you have your system down on how to save coupons you can take your weekly flyer ( some are available the day before online) and go from product to product seeing if you have any coupons. Some people write down there coupons for easy reference others rely on the internet where there are web sites that post the flyers with the coupon markups and the best deals. These sites are great resources. There are also online forums for couponing that are a tremendous help.

So there you have it. That is how I stock pile with Price Chopper.

I enjoy spending my time shopping the Price Chopper Deals. I post most of my deals in a Coupon Forum so others can use the same deals to save money.
